Christmas Day

What a fun Christmas day our family had this year. Last year we were in L.A. for the holidays & spent Christmas in Disneyland... as fun as it was it just wasn't the same as Christmas at home. This year the kids had a ball, they were so excited & moving around so fast I was only able to get a couple snapshots of them. Jaiden finally has the whole present thing down, in fact he enjoyed it so much he wanted to unwrap every gift in sight the entire day. We spent the morning at home & later in the afternoon went to my parents to meet up with my sister, her fiance, his family & some extended family. My Mom made the most fantastic meal (as always!). All in all it was a great day. I was a big photo taking slacker for some reason this year... here is a little collage of the day.

White Christmas

It's Christmas eve & the snow is still falling. Absolute craziness out here & it still hasn't stopped! Our plans to go to my in laws tonight had to be cancelled. Matthew braved going to work this morning & it took him over 3 hours to get there.
Needless to say, we're staying put tonight.

Snow Days

Well, here it is... my first post. I've enjoyed reading blogs for years now & have finally decided to give this a shot!

Here in B.C. we haven't seen snow like this in years.

The kids have been in heaven.

And... it came just in time for the holidays!
