Don't you think this little guy's future is worth it?
In Aug of this year Jaiden was accepted into the Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention program. We waited 13 long months for a spot. 6 weeks in Mary Polak & the Liberal government decided to cut this program as of Jan 31, 2010.
Our story made front page of the Langley Times. You can read about how much this program has helped Jaiden in such a short time here.
Yesterday we rallied to save this program & have this decision reversed.

Dear Susan,
You go girl!! Fight till the bitter end and never give up. The more people hear of your cause, the more the media will listen and hopefully help you get your message back to the right people in government.
I've already written letters to Mary Polak and other sources to support your cause. And I will keep going as long as it takes. I wish I could do more.
By the way, when I read the article about you and Jaiden in the Langley Times, I noticed you cut your beautiful hair. Nice going!! :-)
THANK YOU!!! We are so grateful for your support:)
The pic in the Langley Times isn't me! It's one of the Behavior Interventionists that works with Jaiden!
Thanks again for supporting our cause.
Hi Susan, have you guys had any success getting the government to listen? We've sent letters and signed petitions but I don't think they amounted to much. There's been nothing further in the news either.
How is Jaiden doing in the program? Do you think he'll be ok if they do cancel it in January?
Anyway, I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas. I miss your posts.:-)
have you seen this - using nintendo DS for non-verbal kids? Sounds interesting, a little pricey up front, but might be worth it. http://www.taptotalk.com/
merry christmas :-)
i miss your posts
Happy New Year, Susan. Did I miss your Christmas outfits? I haven't seen anything on ebay for a while and you haven't updated your blog either. Hope everything is ok. Looking forward to more of your fabulous sewing and some updates on here. Take care and all the best for the new year.
